Oooh, A Camera!

Hadassah is growing and learning so much, so quickly. It amazes me every day to see how she changes and learns, God is so SO kind to have allowed me to be a mom, and specifically, Hadassah's mom (and Arabella, but right now we are talking about H).

Last night she said "I love you too" to Jonathan before going to sleep, for the first time that I've heard. It was awesome. And the way she hugs me, the way she speaks to me and shows empathy, I cannot describe the immense love I have for this little girl that God has entrusted to me.

She recently figured out that the camera takes pictures. She LOVES it, looking at the pictures of me and her, of daddy, of sister, of friends and family...

I take pictures, which she is beginning to pose in, and she looks at them:
A photo I took of the two of us to distract her from the computer I was writing to someone on... Yes. My hair is CRAZY. I just woke up. What can I say.

and these two she was making faces, and closing her eyes because she was expecting a flash.

so she stole used the camera the other day to take some of her own pictures. She is an artist, I tell ya:

Okay, so she is still getting the hang of it. And she doesn't really understand the mechanics. But she is having fun, so whatever. :D

Hadassah Goofypants... A Photo Collection

So I got a coupon for two free 8x10's from Shutterfly (woot!) and I am totally excited because I haven't had a new 8x10 of Hadassah in our living room since her 5 month pictures! Here is the current picture we have in our living room:

Adorable. But not at all up to date. :P

And Arabella's picture is a few days after she was born... It's something like this:

Also stinking adorable, but not really the smiling pictures I've gotten of her lately!

But I realized I hadn't taken a picture of our dearest older child in a while, with the fanciness and the backdrop and all of the fun that comes with that. So I set out today to attempt that!

I was really frustrated at first because I lost the camera. We went to a concert last night (a friend's band--The Good Vale was opening for The Rend Collective Experiment) to which I took my camera and snapped these shots:

Buuuuut then I misplaced the camera, which ensued in a lot of cleaning and looking and finally finding it in the car. Hooray!

And so, here are the wonderful pictures that came from my fruitless hilarious adventure of trying to take pictures of Hadassah. Not typically good, but definitely photos I am happy I have, and will treasure later on. :D

Look at those toe-nails! She let me paint them. :D

I also got a few of Arabella... because at 6 months they are MUCH more obliging to photograph. :D

If you zoom into that stinking cute smile, you can see that her two bottom teeth have come in.
:D <3
