This is how I'll remember you.

This is how I'll remember you. Twirling and dancing and laughing. Smiling down on my youngest child. Giving me giant hugs. Serving me sprite and crackers on sick days. With your hair curled and perfectly in place. Giving grandpa a hard time about eating Blake's. Worrying about your husband, your daughters, your son, your grandkids, your mom... everyone but yourself. Cleaning your house, cooking amazing food. Serving, and loving, and always smiling.

I've been thinking about this moment for hours. About the moment I would have to say something about my grandmother. About the moment I would realize that my grasp of her would no longer be the warm hugs and the soft kisses and the quiet loving spirit, but the handful of pictures I have, a couple of videos, and the memories. I long for more time, for a longer hug, but what I have now are these few things, and I have to be okay with that.

When I think of a "proverbs 31 woman" I think of my grandmother. My industrious, loving, hard-working, faithful grandmother. My poised, graceful, lovely, classy, imperfect, funny, gorgeous, hard-headed, strong grandmother. I don't think I could really ever put into words what she meant to me (regardless of my typing, deleting, re-typing), but I have my pictures, my videos, and my memories. :'] And I praise the God she and I both love and worship, and that she is now standing with, that He let me know her, and that I came away with these few things.

 Dancing at my wedding...
I just can't get over her beauty...
My amazing grandma Jean, dancing with Hadassah.
And talking with Arabella..

Things are Going on!

Hello friends!

I feel like I'm missing so many pieces to this update. I haven't taken 2 year pictures, or 10 month pictures of the girls. :[ But I do have pictures, they just aren't the ones I would normally take. I have a few from Halloween, though! The girls were Elsa (Hadassah) and Anna (Arabella) from Frozen. It was fun, and cold, and really busy. Haha. Anyway, pictures!

She was singing "Let It Go" from Frozen. :D ADORABLE.

Halloween!!! Jonathan and I were 1950's husband and wife. :]

Daddy showing Hadassah how the camera works...
 And how to "say cheese"...
And then she gets to it on her own!

This is easily my favorite. She is so gorgeous. :D

 And this smile. Oh my.

And Hadassah was in a wedding in August... here are a couple of pictures.

Okay... someday I'll take and get some pictures of these little ladies up from intentional picture taking. :D
