This is how I'll remember you.

This is how I'll remember you. Twirling and dancing and laughing. Smiling down on my youngest child. Giving me giant hugs. Serving me sprite and crackers on sick days. With your hair curled and perfectly in place. Giving grandpa a hard time about eating Blake's. Worrying about your husband, your daughters, your son, your grandkids, your mom... everyone but yourself. Cleaning your house, cooking amazing food. Serving, and loving, and always smiling.

I've been thinking about this moment for hours. About the moment I would have to say something about my grandmother. About the moment I would realize that my grasp of her would no longer be the warm hugs and the soft kisses and the quiet loving spirit, but the handful of pictures I have, a couple of videos, and the memories. I long for more time, for a longer hug, but what I have now are these few things, and I have to be okay with that.

When I think of a "proverbs 31 woman" I think of my grandmother. My industrious, loving, hard-working, faithful grandmother. My poised, graceful, lovely, classy, imperfect, funny, gorgeous, hard-headed, strong grandmother. I don't think I could really ever put into words what she meant to me (regardless of my typing, deleting, re-typing), but I have my pictures, my videos, and my memories. :'] And I praise the God she and I both love and worship, and that she is now standing with, that He let me know her, and that I came away with these few things.

 Dancing at my wedding...
I just can't get over her beauty...
My amazing grandma Jean, dancing with Hadassah.
And talking with Arabella..

Things are Going on!

Hello friends!

I feel like I'm missing so many pieces to this update. I haven't taken 2 year pictures, or 10 month pictures of the girls. :[ But I do have pictures, they just aren't the ones I would normally take. I have a few from Halloween, though! The girls were Elsa (Hadassah) and Anna (Arabella) from Frozen. It was fun, and cold, and really busy. Haha. Anyway, pictures!

She was singing "Let It Go" from Frozen. :D ADORABLE.

Halloween!!! Jonathan and I were 1950's husband and wife. :]

Daddy showing Hadassah how the camera works...
 And how to "say cheese"...
And then she gets to it on her own!

This is easily my favorite. She is so gorgeous. :D

 And this smile. Oh my.

And Hadassah was in a wedding in August... here are a couple of pictures.

Okay... someday I'll take and get some pictures of these little ladies up from intentional picture taking. :D

Arabella's 8 months old!

I missed 7 months old. :[ But I missed a few months with Hadassah, too, so I don't think I'm doing too bad! Especially since everyone says you don't take many pictures of 2nd kiddos. :D Here are Arabella's 8 months pictures:

This lovely little girl turned 8 months a few days ago. She LOVES eating, can say mama and dada (while looking at each of us), can crawl and pull on up things, and adores her big sister. She is an enormous joy to have in our lives, and I am so glad to be her mommy!

She LOVES pulling up on things now. LOVES IT. I don't think she does much else most of the time except yell at me, chase me, and pull up on EVERYTHING. :D

Here's a great teething demo. :D She just popped out one of the two top front teeth, and she's getting ready to cut the second. My immense lack of sleep the last two days is demonstrative of that. :P
These are funny because they look like she's taking a selfie, but really she's just trying to steal the camera. ;]

And the Arabella stare. :) Ha!

Now for my almost 2, going on angsty teenager, Hadassah. She was a LOT more obliging than usual, but any time I tried to take a picture of her doing something she stopped and threw whatever it was she was doing (harmonica, glasses). It was cute, but her expressions definitely resemble a teenager, uninterested in taking pictures. Ha! Hadassah is only one month away from turning the big 0-2! She loves fruit, running, chocolate milk, saying "let's go!!" and playing! She is such an ENORMOUS joy to have in our lives. :D

I love that slight smile. :] And that she's posing for the picture with her glasses on her head. :D

Here she's ditching the glasses.    The harmonica is one of her favorite things. She used to just hum into it, but she's finally getting the hang of blowing into now!

She makes this face when she doesn't want to be photographed... and when she doesn't like me telling her to stop doing something.

And here, without further ado, are some pictures of my little ladies together. :D

Hadassah clearly doesn't want Arabella up on her chair...

Just after these pictures, though, she gives her a kiss that my camera missed. :D

Teaching sister to play harmonica.............................. and then playing it herself! :D

 Oh my, that little smile...
and that one. :] And A's face here is priceless. Ha!
H has had enough, but A loves to smile! :D
